Landscape Design and Build Services

GSH specializes in landscape design and build in Guelph. We design for our client's needs, with a focus on function and aesthetics. When we build, it is our attention to detail that sets us apart. Our entire process is easy, starting with a free estimate and site analysis.
After understanding the space and our clients vision we develop concept plans. This helps everyone visualize the design together and communicate any changes before construction begins. Our design services include layout and planting plans, permit applications, and budget estimates. After that GSH brings the design to life, creating beautiful spaces for you, your family and friends, from start to finish.
Communication and transparency is integral to the GSH landscape design and build philosophy. We always look ahead, and discuss intentions and expectations with all clients and contractors. This minimizes changes and makes our landscape design and build process fun and stress free.

Taylor Whitney Student Gardens

As a model for sustainable landscape design, the Taylor Whitney Student Gardens explore urban agriculture practices in student off-campus housing.
In Guelph, emergency food systems face many problems, the top three being insufficient funds and resources, inadequate food supply, and the stigma associated with using such programs. A member of the community grows vegetables from the Taylor Whitney Student Garden which are sold locally at the Aberfoyle Farmer's Market. GSH Property Management believes if food production was more visible and commonplace in urban environments, people would be less likely to overlook available support.
The gardens provide us with an opportunity to learn, while contributing to local food production in Guelph, increasing biodiversity, and reusing organic food waste and rain water.
